FRIDAY (May 16th)

 

10:00am   -   Committee Planning meeting

                    -  there will not be panic

 

12:00pm  -    Paul Harris Luncheon

 

2:00-3:30pm   Rotary District 6360 History Panel

 

2:00-5:30pm   Registration (both at hotel and for Dist Conf)

                        -lobby of Potawatomi Inn

 

4:30-6:00pm   Grand Tour of Hospitality Rooms

                        -8-10 Hospitality rooms

                        -Hospitality room choices:  either patio suite, 2 connected cabins or common area of Inn

                        -GSE team, YE students, Gov’s room, BioSand Filter, volunteer clubs, children’s

                        -Drawing for those that attend all 10

 

6:30-8:00pm    Barbeque on the big deck  

                        -Inn has agreed to serve outside and keep it open for at least 1 ½ hour

                        -We can use their tables, need to rent chairs

                        -entertainment:  jugglers and magicians.

 

8:00-9:30pm   Entertainment in Lake James Room

                        -Greeting remarks from President’s rep and Dist Gov (15 minutes)                                     

-Craig Tournquist – Comedian (family oriented)  (1 ¼ hour)

 

9:30pm    Campfire at the fire pit outside by Lake James

                        -singing

                        -story telling

           

SATURDAY (May 16th)

 

7:30-9:30am   Registration

                        -lobby of Potawatomi Inn

 

7:30-8:30am   Breakfast (Lake James Room)

 

8:00-8:30am   Children of Dump Video

                        -while we finish eating

 

8:30-8:40am   Sea Cadets Honor Guard

                        -entrance with flags

                        -pledge and singing of America

                        -Bill Dillingham – St Joe/BH Club – contact

                        $100.00 honorarium

           

8:40-9:15am   Mike McCullough – Speaker on Children of the Dump

                        -past RI Board Member

                       

9:30-10:15am  COTD Break Out Sessions

                        -all Rotarians, spouses and children

                        -interactive sessions:  get involved in Children of the Dump

                        -Rotary gift boxes/other ideas

                        -use all smaller conference rooms

 

10:15-12:30pm  Free time – enjoy Potawatomi Inn/Pokagon State Park

                        -horseback riding

                        -craft shop

                        -nature center

                        -trails

                        -organized activities

 

12:30-1:30pm – Lunch (Lake James Room)

 

1:15-1:40pm – Club Projects

                        -approx 3 club projects

 

1:40-2:05pm   Youth Exchange Presentation

                        - 5 students

                        -power point with lots of pictures-    

 

2:05-2:30pm    Interact Club Presentation

 

2:30-3:00pm   Optional Breakout Sessions

                        -meet International student – one on one, or small group

                        -meet Interact members

 

2:30-4:30pm   Free time – enjoy Potawatomi Inn/Pokagon State Park

                        -horseback riding

                        -craft shop

                        -nature center

                        -trails/biking

                        -organized activities

 

4:30-6:00pm   Grand Tour of Hospitality Rooms

                        -same rooms as Friday

 

6:30-7:30pm   Dinner (Lake James Room)

 

7:15-7:30pm   Video on GSE

 

7:30-8:00pm   GSE teams - Philippines

                        -both incoming and outgoing

                        -Power points/Visual

 

8:00-8:20pm   Address by RI Representative

SUNDAY  May 17th)

 

7:30-8:30am   Breakfast (Lake James Room)

 

8:30-9:30am     Miracle League CD and Speaker

                        -Paw Paw Lake Rotary Club project

                        -handicap children baseball ‘league’

 

9:30-10:15am   Club Projects (4-5) 

 

10:15-12:00am  Free time – enjoy Potawatomi Inn/Pokagon State Park

                        -horseback riding

                        -craft shop

                        -nature center

                        -trails/biking

                        -organized activities

 

10:30 am         Ecumenical Church Service
